PES 2018: This new camera trick will make PES look much, much better than FIFA

FIFA 18 may have the licences but when it comes to realistic gameplay, PES still gives it a serious run for its money.

Now, thanks to some clever modders, there’s a way of making Konami’s game look even more realistic than FIFA – it just takes a very special camera tool.

The ‘Real Life Broadcast’ mod, which can be found here, is available for those who play the game on PC.

It allows you to select height, zoom level and angle – letting you create the perfect, lifelike broadcast package, which puts FIFA 18’s to shame.

Obviously, different stadiums have different views, but the tool can be adjusted to create the perfect experience.

Let’s have a look at a couple of examples.

Liverpool’s Anfield in real life And now in the game – with the adjusted camera

Just like in real life, the Anfield broadcast camera is high with not much of the crowd visible.

Now let’s take a look at Real Madrid’s home, the Santiago Bernabeu.

Unlike Anfield, the camera here tends to stay very low and zoomed in on the action – again, something the mod is capable of.

There’s more crowd visible at the expense of wider shots of the field – which may make it harder to play from the back.

Still, if you’re after a way of making your FIFA friends jealous, this mod is for you.

Elsewhere, in the world of PES, Konami has promised PES 2019 will be very different to last year’s game.

European Community Leader Adam Bhatti, told Gamesradar: “The reason I’m going is because it marks a very important stage for the PES series.

“There will be significant changes made to the way we produce the game, and what we offer as a package.

“It’s the biggest change to the product in years, something that we began integrating with PES 2018.

“As mentioned earlier this year, we want to shock football fans each year for the next few years, with certain changes that simply wouldn’t be expected from a yearly title.”

Since Bhatti was appointed to the role in 2013, Konami’s flagship footballgame has seen somewhat of a critical revival – with scores often trumping EA Sports’ FIFA.

PES 2019 will be powered by Fox Engine – which also powered Metal Gear Solid V
