Betting Secrets: The Best Football Betting Strategy & Much More Revealed

How it Works So, on to how this football betting system functions in practice. There are many ways to go about this, but I’ll cover two of the most popular here. As I mentioned earlier, this works best if you can find bets that have a high value that you can capitalise on. Taking the above game as an example, let’s say you lay the draw on the exchange at odds of 4.5. If, as fully expected, West Ham take the lead in the first half, then you can simply cash out for a profit. Another option is to hedge your bet by backing the draw. After the first goal for the favourites goes in, the odds at bookies for the draw will rise. Backing these new odds with an amount that will cover your liability will result in a guaranteed profit. For example, if we place the £10 lay bet at odds of 4.00, then are able to back the draw in-play after a goal at odds of 6.00 with a £6.5 stake, we would be able to guarantee profit of £3 in the event of a draw and £3.5 if either team wins. Tottenham rival Man United, Arsenal interest in Celtic's Kieran Tierney

Tottenham Hotspur have moved ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal in the battle to sign Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, sources have told ESPN FC.

Tierney, 20, has emerged as the hottest property in Scottish football since making his senior debut as a 17-year-old towards the end of the 2014-15 season and his progress under manager Brendan Rodgers saw the youngster rewarded with a new six-year contract, which he signed on Monday.

Despite Tierney's long-term commitment to the Scottish champions, however, Spurs, United and Arsenal remain determined to be at the front of the queue to sign the left-back next summer.

Isle of Man-born Tierney has insisted that he is in no rush to leave Celtic Park, with the player happy to continue his development under former Liverpool manager Rodgers.

But Tottenham have stepped up their monitoring of the player, with the London club watching Tierney during last month's Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich in Germany before dispatching chief scout Steve Hitchen to watch him in action in the return fixture at Celtic Park on Tuesday.

With Danny Rose's long-term future at Spurs increasingly uncertain -- United are interested in the England left-back -- Mauricio Pochettino is determined to add to his options in defence, with Tierney the leading target.
