MANCHESTER UNITED are searching for a new talent spotter to identify diamonds who “demonstrate the potential to play for the first team”.
The Red Devils are advertising for a recruitment analyst to work within their scouting department.

According to the advert, the new scout will “generate quantitative and qualitative data that supports decision making in the identification of players with the potential to play for MUFC” and will work with the analysis team to “collate and analyse MUFC specific technical, tactical and physical benchmarks”.
United have TREBLED their scouting network across Europe, South America and Asia under a shake-up led by executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
MEN say a source told them: “This goes unseen and is not necessarily about bringing in more and more young players, but making sure that the correct due diligence is carried out before signings are made.”
