That effectively means now is the last time you can fully make the most of those true bargains out there before their value starts to rocket.
With that in mind, we’ve looked at five cheap stars out who are likely to go up in price next week who are worthy of transferring in.
Fantasy football tips: Premier League stars to pick in Game Week 3 1 Richarlison (£2.5m) Three goals in two gamesAFP or licensorsThe man of the moment, Richarlison has settled into life on Merseyside instantly after his whopping £44m move from Watford this summer caused a real stir.
He’s silencing his doubters and helping Everton fans put the misery of Sam Allardyce’s reign well behind them as the Toffees remain unbeaten so far.
Richarlison has three goals already, sitting pretty level at the top of the goal scoring rankings, and they play Bournemouth and Huddersfield in their next two games.
2 Joe Gomez (£2.5m) Gomez has been a rockReutersLiverpool are the only side yet to concede a goal so far this season and Gomez’s form at centre-back has played a big part.
The young England star has filled in for the injured Dejan Lovren admirably and the Croat faces a tough task to dislodge him from Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI.
Gomez has kept both Marko Arnautovic and Wilfried Zaha quiet in Liverpool’s two games so far and looks set for a sustained run in the team alongside Virgil van Dijk.
3 Pedro (£2.5m) Thriving under SarriReutersOne player who has clearly benefited from Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at Chelsea is Pedro.
The Italian boss prioritises goal scoring wingers – think Lorenzo Insigne and Jose Callejon at Napoli – and the Spaniard fits the bill at Stamford Bridge.
Pedro has scored in both of Chelsea’s games so far and the Blues have a very kind run of fixtures over the coming weeks, starting with Newcastle on Sunday.
4 Bernardo Silva (£3.5m) Silva liningAP:Associated PressMan City have become fairly used to a Silva tearing it up in their midfield, but this season they’ve got two in David and Bernardo.
Kevin De Bruyne’s long term injury means the diminutive Portuguese star has taken centre stage so far, scoring against Arsenal on the opening weekend.
Pep Guardiola loves him and his versatility makes him a valuable asset, with City taking on Wolves and Newcastle in their next couple of games.
5 James Maddison (£1.5m) The next Becks?Getty - ContributorThere was a huge amount of fuss about Maddison after his dominant season in the Championship last term and it’s proven completely justified.
He impressed against Man United on the opening day and got his first Premier League goal last week during Leicester’s win over Wolves.
Maddison already looks like the Foxes’ creative hub and he’ll fancy adding to his goal tally against Southampton.
