How it Works So, on to how this football betting system functions in practice. There are many ways to go about this, but I’ll cover two of the most popular here. As I mentioned earlier, this works best if you can find bets that have a high value that you can capitalise on. Taking the above game as an example, let’s say you lay the draw on the exchange at odds of 4.5. If, as fully expected, West Ham take the lead in the first half, then you can simply cash out for a profit. Another option is to hedge your bet by backing the draw. After the first goal for the favourites goes in, the odds at bookies for the draw will rise. Backing these new odds with an amount that will cover your liability will result in a guaranteed profit. For example, if we place the £10 lay bet at odds of 4.00, then are able to back the draw in-play after a goal at odds of 6.00 with a £6.5 stake, we would be able to guarantee profit of £3 in the event of a draw and £3.5 if either team wins. Thilo Kehrer set for reported €37m PSG switch, Schalke confirm
Thilo Kehrer is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of €37million, Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel has confirmed. Kehrer, a Schalke youth product, initially broke into the club's first-team squad in the 2016-17 campaign before going on to enjoy a breakthrough season last term. The 21-year-old defender started 27 games in the Bundesliga in 2017-18 as Schalke finished second to Bayern Munich. Kehrer had agreed to a contract extension at the club, according to Heidel, but PSG then came in with an offer the club could not refuse. #Heidel: "@KehrerThilo will leave Schalke. Rarely have I known such a loyal and well-to-do young man. We had already agreed a contract extension." #s04 pic.twitter.com/X8EhpWqKui — FC Schalke 04 (@s04_en) August 12, 2018 "Without an offer of the dimension that PSG has given us, Thilo would have certainly extended," Heidel told a news conference on Sunday. "We have basically agreed on a contract with Paris. The transfer will have an economic significance that Schalke 04 can not refuse." The signing of Kehrer will likely bring PSG's pursuit of Bayern defender Jerome Boateng to an end.
